Field Trips

At Galloway Farm, we believe agriculture education is prime. We offer engaging activities suited for Pre-K through 5th grade. Programs include Plant Nutrients through the Nutrients for Life Program as well as an anti-bullying presentation through the Spookley Farm Program and Pacer's National Bullying Prevention Center.

Our Fairy Tale Trail offers farm-friendly adaptations of classic fairy tales that take early learners on magical adventures and connect them to the world of agriculture.  Resources for each of these stories are available for teachers to take back to the classroom and can be applied in several subject areas.

Our augmented reality farm animal Scavenger hunt will take students on a quest to find hidden animated animals here on the farm.  Students will learn fun facts along the way and have the opportunity to get their photo taken with each animal.

We are partnering with pumpkin patches and schools around the world to spread kindness with Spookley the Square Pumpkin this fall!  Spookley is the star of bestselling books and animated movies that air on Disney and Netflix.  Spookley is also the "Official Spokes-Pumpkin" for National Bullying Prevention Month in October as his story helps us realize that the things that make us different are the things that make us special.  At Galloway Farm, you can
-learn Spookley's story on the storybook trail through the kiddie corn maze
-take your picture with our giant 8-foot blow-up Spookley
-play "Spookley's Kindness Scavenger Hunt"
-find Spookley books and plush toys in Aunt Bee's gift shop
